What you need to take this course
VIOLIN AND A BOW
You can take the first module without an instrument, but for the rest, naturally, you need a violin and a bow. Your first instrument should be easy to play, don’t worry so much about value and sound. Head to your local violin shop or get a cheap violin online. Don’t make this a reason to postpone your violin dream.
Get your love for music to light up the day. Hear the sound of everything around you, feel the rhythm inside you, think about all the music you will be able to play and get going with the step- by-step lessons.
The more you practice, the better you will play and the easier it will come along. Use every minute on hand to fiddle with the violin and you will discover that it can become your good friend very quickly.
What you don’t need to take this course
VIOLIN AND A BOW
Yes, you read this right. You can start with the first module armed with a simple pencil. I have found that many times students develop stiff bow hold because at the beginning they are afraid of dropping the bow. They hold it tightly and this becomes a habit later on. Until you learn to secure the bow without a tight grip, we will be using a pencil. This way you will develop a light and flexible bow hold.
ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE VIOLIN
You don’t need any previous knowledge about the violin, as I have designed this course with the beginner in mind. However, if you have some previous experience and feel that the course is moving too slowly for you, simply watch these parts in a faster speed of the video player. Or, my recommendation is always to review carefully the basics, as they come back again and again.
Even if you don’t know how to read notation you will be able to learn and practice all the exercises and songs in the courses. The added bonus here is that while you practice the songs by ear, you will be learning the notation subconsciously, as it is included on the screen, pointing out to each note we play. You will see what I mean, it’s pretty cool.
Stop wasting your precious time searching the Internet for more random instructional\r\nvideos. You deserve a better teacher than a violinist who would simply show you where to\r\nput your fingers. Let me be a true coach for you and help you achieve great results in the\r\nleast amount of time.

Are you struggling with learning the violin on your own? Do you find private lessons to be too costly and time consuming? Are you looking for an all inclusive course that covers all the fundamentals that a violin master needs to know?\r\n
This course is a complete guide for beginner violin players. It is the most in depth violin course available online, and the one that gives you the most similar experience to taking private lessons with a violin instructor such as myself.\r\n
Jo: \»Amazing course. 2 days and I can play 3 songs already not perfectly but pretty damn well which is apparently hard for a violin, not with this instructor! Further to that I have alot of questions, I worked out why this morning its because I’m a bit short haha! The questions are answered super fast and in great detail. I couldn’t be happier, and I cannot believe how easy it is to learn. Fully recommend for anyone wanting to learn!\»\r\n
My aim with this program was to create a course that teaches you all the fundamentals properly from the beginning; stuff like holding the violin properly, holding the bow properly, reading music, playing notes, different styles of bowing, fingering techniques, dynamics, etc.\r\n
As well as this, I was careful to include exercises and training material at every stage of the learning in order to make sure you are always aware of what you should work on, what you need to practice and how to do it. Throughout this course, we also cover 17 songs with increasing difficulty, so that with every song we encounter a new challenge, as well as learn new techniques while practicing the ones we learned previously.\r\n
Dipankar: \»I’ve never touched a violin before. I bought it on the 18th of January 2021 and yet, the way he teaches has made the instrument look almost easy. Particularly, being able to read sheet music makes me feel awesome. Besides, I get answers to all my questions. He’s even reviewed a few audio clips of me playing. Thank you. You’re a great teacher!!\»
Songs ranging from beginner to intermediate, in the order of increasing difficulty throughout the course\r\n
All the techniques that you must learn as a violin player are covered in detail, along with exercises and training; these techniques include but not limited to staccato, legato, pizzicato, rit., accents, slurs, dynamics, etc.\r\n
